My dad always told us how important it was to own your own home. “If you don’t,” he’d say, “you’re paying somebody else’s mortgage.” He believed this so strongly that he set up trusts for my brother & I. We only got the money if we completed a post-secondary education, and it had to go toward buying a house.

When you’re young, that could seem frustrating. That money would have helped liven up a few weekends during university. But it instilled a great sense of responsibility in me, and after receiving my business degree from York University, I bought my first home on my own in my mid-20s. I still appreciate my dad’s foresight in helping me take that important step.

Thanks to my Dad, I realized that owning your home was one of the most important things you'd ever do & it has led me to this career I love helping people successfully navigate this major step in their lives.

I've lived in Oxford County since 2013. Two of my kids have grown up here & I love everything Oxford County has to offer. I've found communities like Tillsonburg, Innerkip, Ingersoll & Woodstock to be welcoming & vibrant places with excellent schools, rewarding job opportunities, beautiful outdoor spaces, big networks of hiking trails, indoor & outdoor recreation & stunning scenery. Oxford Count is an easy commute to the GTA but a lot more affordable.
